Bookings  & Site guidelines​ ​

Bookings must be made by persons aged 18 years and over. Travellers Rest reserves the right to refuse a booking at any time without reason. 

Firewood must  not be collected from the woodland - the site is managed carefully to support local wildlife and areas such as log piles must not be disturbed. 

Vehicles must be parked in the marked bays at all times and not taken into the woodland. 

Guests must behave considerately to both other guests and neighbours at all times. Travellers Rest reserves the right to eject any person(s) from the site at any time for anti-social behaviour.

Price & fees

All prices are inclusive of VAT, if applicable, unless stated otherwise.

Accommodation fees include the use of the Gypsy cabin in question, access and use of the woodland and parking, water, bathroom facilities, bed linen, towels and cleaning after checkout.

Travellers Rest reserves the right to change prices for accommodation and optional extras at any time.

Additional cleaning or repair costs may be charged in the event of incorrect use of equipment or damages of any kind.

Guests are liable for any loss and/or damage caused to Travellers Rest and the farm as a direct or indirect consequence of their stay.

Payment

Payment may be made either by BACs or cash.  Prior to arrival, Travellers Rest will provide bank details for BACs transfer and full payment must be made before arrival. Should guests pay by cash, full payment is due at check-in. In the case of late or incomplete payment, guests are liable for any costs involved in retrieval of monies owed.

Pets

Up to 2 dogs are permitted per cabin at a flat rate of £10/dog/stay and must be added  from options available at the time of booking. Dogs must be kept under control at all times for both the safety of other guests, neighbours and livestock on the farm. Guests are liable for any costs associated with damage or distress caused by their dogs.

Cancellations & changes

Bookings cannot be amended within 14 days of arrival

The balance for cancellations made within 14 days of arrival must be paid in full

In the event of premature termination of the stay, the full amount of the initial booking made is due.

Arrival & Departure

Check in is between 3:30pm-10pm

Check out is by 11am

Contactless check in is in place and all access codes will be emailed to guests prior to arrival.

Late check-outs may sometimes be available at the managers discretion - please enquire on arrival. Late check-outs without approval will incur a fee due to the disruption of time to clean and turnaround units for the next guest.

Liability

The use of the site and accommodation at Travellers Rest is at the own risk of guests. Travellers Rest accept no liability for any theft, damage or loss of any kind during a stay on the site.
